Title: Detoxified Iodine

Hello Phil, I just listened to your May, 2015 interview with Patrick Timpone which was incredibly informative and educational. I am using your Detoxified iodine after refusing to continue my prescription of Levothyroxine 50 mcg (for 5 months) that caused severe insomnia plus other symptoms. I began with 1 drop a day mid August and increased as suggested. Now I use 5 drops a day. You commented in the interview that one may stop taking the iodine once the thyroids are functioning properly. This morning I felt better than in a long time after sleeping 10 hours - with 2 bathroom breaks; I'm 73, female. That much sleep is unbelievable for me. I have had sleep disruption problems for 10 plus years; however not like the insomnia caused with Levothyroxine where I was down to 1 hour a night. 10 hours of sleep a night is not what my goal is but at least 7-8. My question is, do I stop taking the iodine? My concentration, focus, energy and strength are good. I am a very active person and maintain a very good weight and exercise regularly. However, I have developed strong muscle cramps in my legs over the past 2 weeks before getting up. Thanks for being such a good resource in health matters that are seriously overlooked by doctors. Their specialization and the control of insurance companies have been a disservice to patients. As a retired mental health professional, I have good experience to comment on this. To health, Erika"
